Studies suggest that the likelihood of having triplets was previously 1 in 8,000, but over the past two decades, this statistic appears to have changed.
The utilization of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and assisted reproductive technologies has led to a significant increase in multiple births, particularly by 40% for triplets and nearly 50% for twins.
The owner of the Instagram account is a mother of four and an identical triplet mama who also underwent IVF to conceive her triplet offspring. She already had three sons, Rocco, Prince, and Otis, and an older daughter, Violet, by the time she turned 40.
The three boys, who look strikingly alike, were born in May 2020. The 40-year-old mother’s posts have been active since the beginning of her pregnancy, and she has shared her experiences of having triplets as well as her own symptoms.
“I used to wear my sneakers with loose laces because my feet were so big and swollen, regardless of what I was wearing,” she recounted. “The worst of my headaches was accompanied by this extreme thirst that persisted despite my drinking numerous glasses of water. Every time I laid down, I had to use pillows to prop up my enormous tummy because I was so uncomfortable.”
Since their birth and throughout their two-year journey, the 40-year-old has published hundreds of photos of the three boys. She captures them both together and individually, often sharing their moments with their older sister.
The young boys are frequently spotted in matching outfits in the pictures, adding an extra layer of cuteness to their mother’s posts. They all wear identical bodysuits and clothing with recognizable brand names.
