Organizers are gearing up for the 2012 edition of the unique event known officially as the ‘Crawlers Competition’ in Novosibirsk, Siberia. This competition sees babies aged nine months and under compete in a rather unconventional race – a seven-meter dash while navigating a nappy rush course. Participants have a mere two minutes to complete this challenging crawl.

In 2011, the champion was Nikita Zhulin, who, despite his age, outperformed all other crawlers. Nikita’s mother, Tatiana Zhulina, shared her excitement about the event, recalling how they stumbled upon it and decided to participate. Nikita’s victory was a testament to their routine of meals, playtime, and walks, which inadvertently prepared him for this unexpected marathon. Nikita managed to crawl the distance in just 15 seconds, securing his victory.
