The Alarco family recently welcomed two precious additions to their clan, baby girls named Kezy and Kezley. Their arrival, via a C-section last month, brought their total number of children to 10. The couple, Kimberley and John Alarco, aged 37 and 43 respectively, expressed their astonishment at the unexpected expansion of their family.
Kimberley, hailing from Wallkill, New York, USA, shared that they were in “total awe” when they first found out she was pregnant with twins. Little did they know that this would happen twice more in just a few years. She explained, “Twins run on my father’s side of the family. My aunt had multiples as well that were all natural. But I was completely surprised because it skipped generations and landed on me. I was in total awe every single time that I was told I was having twins. Every pregnancy after that, it was a bit of a gamble if it was going to be twins again. But I am truly grateful.”
She went on to reveal, “Kezy and Kezley were actually triplets, but we lost one of the babies early on in the pregnancy, so the trio became a duo. I really had no time to process the loss of the third baby because I had to put all of my focus in making sure that I wouldn’t lose the others. I was shocked when I found out I was pregnant again because we didn’t plan on more; we were content and passed our budget. But we are so blessed and happy with our big family.”
This isn’t Kimberley’s first experience with a large family. Her mother had a total of 18 children, including both biological and adopted ones. Kimberley herself has continued this tradition of having a bustling household with her detective husband, who always dreamed of having a big family.
On Instagram, Kimberley introduced her newborn daughters on the day the family was set to leave the hospital. She shared an adorable photo of the girls peacefully asleep on a hospital bed, dressed in matching peach onesies. She captioned the photo with excitement, “They are our last addition and made our tribe a solid 10. They were born on 4/25/22, my very first cesarean. They were breeched, and it was a difficult pregnancy, but thank God that we made it.”
She also revealed some details about the birth, stating that Kezy is older by three minutes and weighed 4 pounds, 15 ounces at birth. Her little sister, Kezley, was slightly heavier at 5 pounds, 9 ounces.
Kimberley continued to express her deep gratitude and the emotional journey they’ve been through, saying, “Kezy and Kezley started their journey as a trio, but unfortunately, while at the doctor’s office, I miscarried who I believe was my boy, Kept. God gives us what he knows we can handle, so yes, we will love him and remember him.”
In the midst of life’s unexpected twists and turns, the Alarco family has welcomed their two newest members with open arms, cherishing each precious moment of their growing family.
