On June 19, an unexpected event took place in a parking lot in Florida, USA, as a mother gave birth to her child. This eager little girl couldn’t wait to enter the world!

Susan Anderson and her husband, Joseph, were on their way to a birthing center when Susan suddenly felt the urge to push. Joseph quickly parked their car in front of the facility, hoping to make their way inside. However, before they could even enter the center, Susan gave birth.

“I was coming out by the time we reached the first step,” Susan was quoted as saying.

Although they didn’t make it inside the building, a midwife named Sandra Lovaina came to their aid in the parking lot.

The Natural Birthworks birthing center shared security camera footage of this extraordinary birth on its YouTube page. The short clip showed Lovaina crouching on the ground, assisting Susan, who was hunched over and holding onto her husband.

Due to Susan’s screams, the police approached the small group. Lovaina quickly assured the officers that she was a midwife helping Susan with the birth.

Seconds later, as Susan’s shorts slipped to the side, Lovaina caught the baby girl. She then handed the child to Susan, who embraced her newborn before they finally entered the building.

“The mother had an incredibly fast labor. In midwife terms, it was precipitous,” stated the birthing center.

A precipitous labor, characterized by a duration as short as three hours and typically less than five hours, according to the American Pregnancy Association.

Later, Susan explained that she was rushing to enter a birthing tub in the center as she had initially planned for a water birth. However, baby Julia had different plans in mind.

Meanwhile, Gelena Hingkley, another midwife at the facility, mentioned that Susan had been their client before.

“We had delivered her previous child, and the second time was much faster,” Hinkley said. “No one expected it to be that fast.”

The birthing center reassured everyone that Susan and Julia are doing amazingly well.
