“Exploring Extraordinary Military Vehicles: Beyond the Ordinary”
Keep your eyes peeled for these remarkable vehicles; they’re far from your run-of-the-mill street machines. Personally, I’m not exactly a fan of heavy-duty armored military vehicles designed for warfare, but this video still managed to captivate me. It showcased 15 of the most massive, formidable, and unconventional military war vehicles you’ve ever seen.
So, what happens when a kid who spent hours playing war games at the age of 10 grows up to become a mechanical military engineer with no budget constraints? You get this incredible lineup of war machines.
The video was undeniably fascinating, but there was one noteworthy aspect: the majority of the vehicles featured were from the United States. It might be worth diversifying and including vehicles from other countries. For instance, replacing “viking” with the Russian DT30, which surpasses the Viking in terms of capabilities. This 30,000kg beast can navigate terrains where the Viking would get stuck. It’s safe to say that Russians boast some superior military vehicles compared to the US.
Surprisingly, I didn’t come across a single mention of the top 10 largest or most imposing vehicles in the video. A 10-ton support tank is nothing compared to tanks that were built almost a century ago, some weighing over 100 tons. What about those colossal railroad cannons or even ships and airplanes? Shouldn’t they also be considered as formidable vehicles?
One question that crossed my mind as I watched the video was: Where’s the armor to protect the exposed soldiers on top of these vehicles? It seems essential to provide them with a 360° shield and a swiveling turret or various hatches they can use to fire their rifles from. They don’t appear to be well-protected against accurately aimed bullets.
I couldn’t help but anticipate a mention of the Shagohod. The commentary had a certain Snake or Volgin vibe, reminiscent of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, when they discussed the Philosopher’s Legacy. It’s clear that these military vehicles carry a certain aura of intrigue and mystique, much like the world of espionage and covert operations portrayed in the iconic video game series.
