A fascinating ancient city in India with petroglyphs believed to be 12,000 years old was recently uncovered.
An ancient city has been recently found by the natives of northern India, and scientists have already started to excavate the site. According to preliminary scientific research, the city is at least 4,000 years old.
The discovery of this city was by chance, as the villagers were digging for sand and found it. They also discovered smaller artifacts, which were passed on to the archaeologists.
Aside from these minor items, larger artifacts were also discovered, including temple foundations, building walls, and statues, all from the era of the Gupta dynasty. The scientists had a recent groundbreaking discovery in the city of Maharashtra where they found petroglyphs dating back at least 12,000 years.
It’s fascinating to think that these ancient cultures are still being discovered by modern technology, and we have yet to uncover all the secrets of the past.
