Texas Mother’s Surprise: Her Baby’s Luscious Hair Growth
It’s been some time since her birth, yet people still can’t help but describe her as “incredibly beautiful.”
New parents often receive compliments about their baby’s appearance, but they might not anticipate the challenges that come with meeting their child’s full range of needs. This is precisely why Texas City’s mother, Ei’Yonn Gumbs, was taken aback when she discovered that her sister Myla was profoundly distressed after giving birth.
Myla not only has a full head of hair but also noticeable hair growth on her arms and legs, something that didn’t happen with her three previous children. While she was born with a full head of hair, it was only after two months that hair began sprouting all over her body. Black hair now adorns the three-month-old’s calves, thighs, upper and lower arms, and even her cheeks, with a charming curly hairstyle.
Her mother, Kei’Yonna, remarked, “I was surprised when I noticed the hair coming in, but she’s so beautiful that it doesn’t matter. I’ll always love her. To all the mothers out there with daughters like mine, embrace your baby. At birth, she had a lot of hair, but it was straight. It didn’t start to curl up until she was around two and a half months old. That’s when I began to notice the hair on her legs and arms.”
Myla isn’t the only baby blessed with luscious locks. Earlier this year, a baby drew comparisons to Boris Johnson, thanks to his shocking mop of white-blond hair. David Barabash, from Surrey, is just three months old but already has more hair than many toddlers. His resemblance to the Prime Minister was spotted by nurses shortly after his birth on March 1st, according to his mother, Tatiana Doronina, 35.
In June, a mother shared that her seven-month-old baby often gets mistaken for a toddler due to his impressive head of hair. Sammie Pepperell’s son, Beau, from Hornchurch, London, was born with a jet-black mane, leading hairdressers to think he was two years old during his first haircut.
